Foggy headlamps and burnt out lights– Foggy headlights are easy to fix and cleaning the headlamps will give your car a fresher look. Make sure to check all your lights and replace any bulbs that have gone out. Most buyers will test out a car’s headlights, brake lights and turn signals.

Tires— To get a sense of overall wear and tear, buyers may look at your car’s tires. Worn out tires are one of the easiest things to spot and could lower the value of your car. If your treads are worn or uneven, it may be best to replace them with matching used tires.

Top off the fluids – Be sure to check and top off your oil, radiator, brake fluid, transmission fluid and windshield-washer reservoir.
