The Documents Needed to Sell Your Car

If you are ready to sell your car, here are the four items that you will need.

Car Title - A car title is a document establishing the legal owner of a vehicle, whether a person or business, that’s issued by a state department of motor vehicles. All titleholders should be present.

Vehicle Registration – To confirm ownership, we will need a valid and current vehicle registration.

Valid ID – We will also need to verify your identity with a valid state-issued photo ID for all titleholders.

Keys – Finally, we’ll need all the keys and remotes of your car. (If the originals are missing, your offer may need to be adjusted).
